SOFITEL SHAHD AL MADINAH · MEDINA, KSA

A design concept prepared for Sofitel Shahd Al Madinah and presented to ownership in Medina. The brief was luxury hospitality for a city of pilgrimage: Islamic geometry, arabesque and carved arches held inside a classic European discipline of proportion, marble and crystal.

THREE SCHEMES, FULLY DEVELOPED

Arabesque Restaurant, Gym & Spa, and the Junior Suite — each taken through furniture layout, pattern and arch studies, material selection and FF&E specification. Classic Arabescato and black marble, mirror cladding, carved painted wood, emerald velvet and brushed brass.
