Deasalus is an Italian regenerative medicine clinic in Eterna Healthcare City, Mivida. The brief was to make a building in New Cairo feel as though it belonged to an Italian house — without giving up anything a modern treatment suite requires.
European classicism means cornices, ceiling roses, panelling, gilt and crystal. Modern healthcare means wipeable surfaces, sealed junctions, even task light and a basin where the hands are. Put them in one room carelessly and you get a treatment chair marooned in a ballroom.
The lounge is unapologetically Italian: a panoramic scenic mural across two walls, olive boucle armchairs, a gilt-framed mirror, a crystal chandelier under a plaster ceiling rose, and a weathered classical stone finial standing as sculpture.
The treatment rooms switch to clinical discipline — pale walls, sealed white cabinetry, a vessel basin at the point of use, an adjustable task lamp. They keep the cornice, ceiling rose, crystal pendant and brass mirror, so the temperature never drops.
A walnut herringbone floor runs through the whole clinic. It is the one element that belongs equally to a drawing room and a consulting room, and it is what lets the two halves of the building read as one place.
